I’m Too Tempted to Continually Tweak My Aquarium

By Luke • Jan 30th, 2010 • Category: Ramblings

I’m constantly sitting here, in my home office, looking at my aquarium. I stare at it when I’m taking a break from the computer screens or sounds mixers. I’m drawn to look at it when I should really be focusing on going through mail and other crap paperwork.

Anyways, here’s my point.

I always want to change things in my aquarium, to keep it fresh. But I don’t think that is the best thing to do. I don’t want to add more fish and overstock the aquarium. I don’t like to move live rock around a lot. I don’t like to upset the balance of what’s going on in there.

So, I continually have to let every day pass. Another day of not upgrading the aquarium.

But that is a good thing. I need to be happy doing that. My fish will appreciate me more for it. They will be less stressed. They will live longer.
