Hi Phil - yep I think that if I had lots of corals I wouldn't have removed as many of the lamps. I think my main issue was the light reflecting off the glass tops, which was pretty intense. I built a simple custom hood that provides shielding from the light reflections on the top of the aquariums, it's basically a three side hood. It block light reflecting off the top at the front and both the left/right sides. That cleaned up a lot of my brightness concerns

Luke, I'm surprised that it was too bright, usually it is perfect for corals.

It's a Nova Extreme Pro, by Current USA - it was a little too bright for my aquarium but I tweaked it by removing some of the bulbs

Hello Luke,

What type of lighting do you have on your aquarium? I'm looking to upgrade my 75 gallon lights and wondering what you are using.

So far we are very pleased with this faucet. The only complaint is the hot and cold lines should be more flexible. Thus it could be easier to hook up.
