I’ve heard that Maracyn can be helpful in treating this type of issue, along with other fungal issues with fish, but I have never tried it myself so I can’t say that I have any experience with it – I may have gotten to that point if I wasn’t able to get rid of the popeye any other way

So the trick to dealing with popeye is………….water quality + a good diet? In your case, you caught it very early. What is a good medication for fish that have it for longer periods?
