The Yellow Tang – A Good Beginner Fish

By • Oct 19th, 2008 • Category: Fish and Invertebrate

When starting up a saltwater aquarium for the first time, the choices that are made in what fish to put in the aquarium are crucial. It is hard to pick a good selection of fish without a little bit of direction.

Yellow Tangs are one of the most popular types of saltwater aquarium fish. There are some very specific reasons that they are so popular. They aren’t expensive, they have a great personality for an aquarium fish, and they like to eat algae.

I’ve recently added a new page to the aquarium fish section of the web site that outlined why the Yellow Tang is a good fish for beginners.

If you are looking to set up a saltwater aquarium for the first time, you should really check into the Yellow Tang as one of the fish you add to your aquarium.
